This report does not represent all animals at the sale on this date.*** Stanly County Livestock, Norwood, NC Weighted Average Auction Report Wednesday Oct 18, 2017 Cattle Receipts: 800 Last Week: 924 Last Year: 480 Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were steady. Feeder cattle were 4.00 to 5.00 lower. Moderate demand, buyer activity and offerings. Quality of cattle average. Slaughter cows made up 11 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2 percent, replacement cows 1 percent, and feeders 86 percent. The feeder supply included 33 percent steers, 38 percent heifers, and 29 percent bulls. Near 19 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
