This report does not represent all animals at the sale on this date.*** Harward Brothers Livestock Market, Turnersburg, NC Weighted Average Auction Report Monday Oct 16, 2017 Cattle Receipts: 1372 Last Week: 791 Last Year: 903 Compared to last week, slaughter cows were mostly 2.00 to 5.00 higher with bulls mostly steady. Feeder steers and bulls were mostly 2.00 to 4.00 higher with heifers mostly steady to 4.00 lower. Moderate demand,market activity and offerings. Quality of cattle average. Slaughter cows made up 13 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 3 percent, replacement cows 2 percent, other cows 1 percent, and feeders 82 percent. The feeder supply included 35 percent steers, 36 percent heifers, and 29 percent bulls. Near 15 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
