LR_LS149 Little Rock, AR Thu Oct 19, 2017 USDA-AR Dept of Ag Market News County Line Sale, Ratcliff, AR Weighted Average Report for Wednesday Oct 18, 2017 Cattle Receipts: 150 Last week: 230 Last year: NR Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold 1.00-8.00 higher with limited comparable sales. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Supply included 87 feeder calves; 38 feeder yearlings; 3 replacement cows; 17 slaughter cows and 5 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 41 percent steers, 50 percent heifers, and 8 percent bulls. Near 36 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Value Added denotes calves weaned at least 45 days and have been administered 2 sets of preconditioning vaccines.
