LR_LS149 Little Rock, AR Thu Oct 12, 2017 USDA-AR Dept of Ag Market News County Line Sale, Ratcliff, AR Weighted Average Report for Wednesday Oct 11, 2017 Cattle Receipts: 230 Last week: 135 Last year: NR Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 600 lbs sold 2.00-6.00 lower, over 600 lbs sold 1.00 higher. Value added 700 and 800 lb weights sold up to 6.00 higher. Feeder heifers sold steady. Value added 600 lb weights sold 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls were not tested. Value Added denotes cattle who have been weaned at least 45 days and have been administered two rounds of preconditioning shots. Supply included 140 feeder calves; 67 feeder yearlings; 7 replacement cows; 15 slaughter cows and 1 slaughter bull. The feeder supply included 42 percent steers, 37 percent heifers, and 21 percent bulls. Near 33 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
