LR_LS129 Little Rock, AR Mon Nov 13, 2017 USDA-AR Dept of Ag Market News Ouachita Livestock Auction, Ola, AR Weighted Average Report for Friday Nov 10, 2017 Cattle Receipts: 766 Last week: 730 Last year: NR Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers under 400 lbs sold 12.00- 16.00 lower, over 400 lbs sold 2.00-12.00 lower, mostly 4.00-8.00 lower. Value added cattle sold with a 2.00-8.00 premium. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady on a light test. Value added denotes cattle weaned at least 45 days and administered two sets of preconditioning vaccines. Supply included 541 feeder calves; 178 feeder yearlings; 14 replacement cows; 26 slaughter cows and 7 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 45 percent steers, 40 percent heifers, and 15 percent bulls. Near 24 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
