LR_LS129 Little Rock, AR Mon Oct 16, 2017 USDA-AR Dept of Ag Market News Ouachita Livestock Auction, Ola, AR Weighted Average Report for Friday Oct 13, 2017 Cattle Receipts: 573 Last week: 550 Last year: NR Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 400 lbs sold 8.00 higher, over 400 lbs sold 2.00-3.00 higher. Feeder heifers sold steady to 5.00 lower with 300 lb weights 10.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold steady. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00 higher with two exceptional bulls 3.00 higher. Supply included 416 feeder calves; 100 feeder yearlings; 24 replacement cows; 21 slaughter cows and 12 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 43 percent steers, 30 percent heifers, and 27 percent bulls. Near 20 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
