LR_LS126 Little Rock, AR Fri Oct 13, 2017 USDA-AR Dept of Ag Market News I-40 Livestock, Ozark, AR Weighted Average Report for Thursday Oct 12, 2017 Cattle Receipts: 1125 Last week: 828 Last year: NR Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold mostly 3.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00 higher. Value Added denotes cattle weaned at least 45 days and have been administered two sets of preconditioning vaccines. Supply included 779 feeder calves; 195 feeder yearlings; 37 replacement cows; 104 slaughter cows and 10 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 44 percent steers, 39 percent heifers, and 17 percent bulls. Near 18 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
