Feeder heifers under 400 lbs sold 5.00 lower, over 400 lbs sold 2.00-6.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Supply included 666 feeder calves; 91 feeder yearlings; 17 replacement cows; 49 slaughter cows and 5 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 36 percent steers, 44 percent heifers, and 20 percent bulls. Near 11 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. Value added denotes calves that have been weaned at least 45 days and have had two rounds of preconditioning shots. Fleshy denotes unweaned new crop calves.
