LR_LS124 Little Rock, AR Thu Oct 19, 2017 USDA-AR Coop Ext Market News Service Benton County Sale Barn, SiloamSprings, AR Weighted Average Report for Thursday Oct 19, 2017 Cattle Receipts: 1784 Last week: NR Last year: 778 Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers steady to 9.00 higher mostly 6.00-7.00 higher. Feeder heifers and bulls 1.00-5.00 higher except 550-600lb bulls 8.00 lower. Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls steady to 1.00 lower. Supply included about 1140 feeder calves, 300 feeder yearlings, 110 replacement cows, 202 slaughter cows, and 32 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 36 percent steers, 42 percent heifers, and 23 percent bulls. Near 20 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
