Benton County Sale Barn, Siloam Springs, AR Weighted Average Report for Thursday Oct 5, 2017 Cattle Receipts: 1190 Last week: 1992 Last year: 1345 Compared to last week: Feeders mixed mostly steady to 3.00 higher except the better 350-400lb steers and heifers 1.00-2.00 lower and some 550-650lb steers and bulls 6.00-10.00 higher. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 3.00-5.00 higher. Supply included about 605 feeder calves, 390 feeder yearlings, 75 replacement cows, 95 slaughter cows. 5 replacement bulls, and 20 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 20 percent steers, 51 percent heifers, and 29 percent bulls. Near 39 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
