LR_LS120 Little Rock, AR Wed Oct 4, 2017 USDA-AR Coop Ext Market News Service North Arkansas Livestock, GreenForest, AR Weighted Average Report for Wednesday Oct 4, 2017 Cattle Receipts: 1047 Last week: 2642 Last year: 850 Compared to last week: Feeders mostly steady to 6.00 higher except heifers over 500lbs mostly steady to 6.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady to weak. Value Added denotes cattle weaned for at least 45 days with two rounds of shots. Supply included about 485 feeder calves, 410 feeder yearlings, 55 replacement cows, 82 slaughter cows, and 15 slaughter bulls. The feeder supply included 48 percent steers, 37 percent heifers, and 16 percent bulls. Near 46 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
