Heifer calves 450 to 500 lbs and 551 to 600 lbs steady with an instance 3.00 higher on 551 to 600 lbs, 500 to 550 and 601 to 650 lbs 2.00 to 6.00 lower. Yearling cattle different weight classes than last week and not well compared. Good to very good demand for a long string and several loads and packages of yearlings offered today. Many packages were tested open heifers. Flesh on yearlings mostly moderate to moderate plus with some heavy flesh. Good to very good demand for today's attractive calf offering featuring many loads and packages. Mostly moderate to moderate plus flesh on calves today. The majority had full preconditioning, however there were a few calves with just a 7 way shot. A few weaned packages offered but most calves still coming off the cow. An active market on both yearlings and calves. Steers made up 59 percent of the feeder supply,, heifers 41 percent, 68 percent over 600 lbs. Bred cattle next Wednesday, November 22, and two feeder cattle sales the following week, Wednesday, November 29, regular feeder cattle sale and weaned calf special Saturday, November 2.
