Vincennes, IN Weighted Average Report for 11/15/2017 Receipts: 475 Last Week: 488 Year Ago: 410 Compared to last week slaughter steers and heifers were 3.00 to 5.00 lower from the previous week with a good offering of high quality steers and heifers but lower packer bids. Slaughter cows and bulls were measurably higher from the previous week with a large number of slaughter cows today. Feeder cattle were significantly higher today with a good offering of value added and fancy feeders with active bidding today. Feeder cattle consisted of 48% over 600 lbs. Slaughter cattle consisted of 22% steers, 16% heifers, 0% Holsteins, 14% cows, and 3% bulls. ***This report reflects the majority of cattle sold with a USDA grade, weight, and sex.
