Steer and heifer calves sold 6.00 to 8.00 higher. Trade was active on moderate to good demand. Going into the Fall runs calves over 600 lbs or fleshy were heavily discounted as buyers try to avoid sickness going into the winter months. Slaughter cows and bulls made up 3 percent, less than 1 percent replacements, and 97 percent feeders. Feeder supply consisted of 61 percent steers and bulls, and 39 percent heifers. Near 72 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
