Slaughter cows traded mostly steady. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Feeder cattle consignments consisted of mostly large runs of calves with a few lighter runs of yearling type, with those being preconditioned with multiple rounds of vaccinations consisting of spring and fall shots and those that were long weaned commanding the highest demand. In feeder cattle, the run consisted of 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers, with 61 percent weighing over 600 pounds.
