Feeder heifers under 600 lbs traded steady to 5.00 lower, while those over 600 lbs were too lightly tested for an accurate trend. Bred cows were too lightly tested to accurately trend. Slaughter cows traded steady to 4.00 lower, while bulls were steady to 5.00 lower. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. In feeder cattle, the run consisted of 60 percent steers and 40 percent heifers, with 42 percent weighing over 600 pounds. The total run consisted of 90 percent feeder cattle, 1 percent bred stock and the balance being mostly slaughter cows and bulls.
