DC_LS795 Dodge City, KS Tue Oct 10, 2017 USDA-KS Dept of Ag Market News (Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 10/02/17 through 10/07/17) Kansas Weighted Average Report for the three feeder cattle auctions (Dodge City, Pratt and Salina) totaled 7,219 head including 6,726 head of feeder cattle and calves. Weighted average based on 5,508 head or about 86 percent of the total feeders. Approximately 82 percent of the feeders 600 lbs and over. Feeder supply 54 percent steers and 46 percent heifers.
