Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report and Cow and Bull Report for the Week of 10/09-13/2017 Receipts: 25,300 Last Week: 17,046 Last Year: 22,518 Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for Oklahoma auctions. 7 Auctions reported this week: Ada, Apache, El Reno, McAlester, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Woodward. Feeder steers and heifers steady to 8.00 higher. Demand good to very good for feeder cattle. Steer and heifer calves sold mostly 3.00-8.00 higher. Demand good for heavier weight calves that have been weaned over 60 days. Cooler weather moved across the trading region early this week, bringing strong winds. The coolest temperatures were seen in the panhandle in the mid 40's at the beginning of the week. Fall temperatures are here to stay as cool weather continues into next week. Supply included 52 percent over 600 lbs; 44 percent heifers.
