Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report and Cow and Bull Report for the Week of 10/02-06/2017 Receipts: 17,046 Last Week: 20,247 Last Year: 22,159 Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for Oklahoma auctions. 7 Auctions reported this week: Ada, Apache, El Reno, McAlester, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Woodward. Feeder steers and heifers unevenly steady. Demand moderate to good. Demand remains good for heavier weight cattle that will finish in the beginning of next year. Steer and heifer calves mostly steady to 4.00 lower. Buyers are remaining cautious about buying short-weaned or unweaned calves, due to the cool rainy weather. Rain across the trading region limited cattle movement. Cooler weather and thunderstorms are expected to continue into the weekend and next week. Farmers remain busy in the fields planting wheat. Supply included 57 percent over 600 lbs; 41 percent heifers.
