OK_LS322 Oklahoma City, OK Fri Oct 06, 2017 USDA-OK Dept of Ag Market News Noble County Stockyard - Perry, OK Sheep and Goat Weighted Average for Thursday 10/05/2017 Total Receipts: 459 Last sale (09/21/2017): 948 Last Year: 780 Compared to the last sale on 09-21-17: Slaughter kids had limited comparable weight ranges with the lighter receipts but a much firmer undertone was noted with instances of 20.00 higher. Whether kids held mostly 10.00 lower. Slaughter nannies had limited comparable receipts but a much higher undertone noted. Limited numbers of feeder kids were steady to 10.00 higher. Slaughter lambs sold steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter ewes had a light test but much higher quality and undertone noted. Feeder lambs not well tested. Quality mostly average with quite a few attractive. Demand very good for lighter slaughter kids. Recent large amounts of moisture hampered total receipts but overall demand was quite firm. Whether kids demand was moderate. Supply included 54 percent goats and 46 percent lambs. Demand was good for most all classes. All sheep and lambs are sold by the cwt.
