   A nice crowd was on hand for this month’s Special Bred Cow and Cow/calf 
pair’s sale with a nice rain throughout the area.  Thursday’s special included a 
nice offering of young bred cows mostly 3-6 years of age in the 2nd and 3rd 
stage, with a nice offering of young black pairs with good calves all selling 
with moderate to good demand.  
 
   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1  3-5 yrs blk 1125-1400 lbs 3rd stage 1600.00-
1775.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  2-7 yrs 1050-1600 lbs 2nd-3rd stage 1225.00-
1525.00, 1st stage few 1100-1225 lbs 1100.00-1175.00, short solid-few aged cows 
1200-1650 lbs mostly 3rd stage 1200.00-1350.00.  Medium and Large 2  3-7 yrs 
900-1350 lbs 1st-3rd stage 900.00-1250.00, short solid mouth 1100-1430 lbs 2nd-
3rd stage 1035.00-1100.00; aged cows 1000-1500 lbs 2nd-3rd stage 725.00-950.00, 
thin 635.00-685.00.   

   Cow/calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1  2-5 yrs blk 1100-1400 lbs w/baby-300 lb 
calves 1800.00-1960.00, few 3-5 yrs w/150-300 lb calves 2025.00-2175.00.  Medium 
and Large 1-2  4-7 yrs 1050-1450 lbs w/150-300 lb calves 1375.00-1700.00; short 
solid 1250-1600 lbs w/150-300 lb calves 1350.00-1550.00.  Medium and Large 2  
lot aged cows 1150-1200 lbs w/150 lb calves 1000.00.    

   Breeding Bulls: 18 months to 4 yrs mostly blk 1300-1850 lbs 1300.00-1600.00, 
couple ind’s 2000.00, 18 months-2 yrs thin 885-1375 lbs 985.00-1200.00.
