Cow and Bull Auction 11/15/17

Receipts:  1207    Last Week:  1351    Last Year:  950

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold steady and slaughter
bulls sold 1.00 higher. The offering included a heavy supply of bred cows
with a high percent in the 2nd stage and a light supply of cow/calf pairs.
Supply was heavy and demand moderate for slaughter classes.
***JRS will hold their monthly replacement cow and bull sale this Saturday
November the 18th beginning at 12:00 noon***

   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2-6 yrs 2nd and 3rd stage 1000-1360 lbs
1000.00-1475.00, 1st stage couple 985-1200 lbs 1000.00-1025.00; short and solid
mouth to aged most 2nd few 3rd stage 1125-1365 lbs 640.00-935.00. Large 1-2
5 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 1400-1620 lbs 875.00-1100.00;

1300 lb cows w/babies to 300 lb calves 900.00-1100.00. Medium and Large 2
short and solid mouth 1100 lb cow w/baby calf 900.00. Medium 1-2  2-4 yrs 725-
1025 lb cows w/145-210 lb calves and a few rebred 1000.00-1075.00 per pair.
