Florida Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Florida Livestock Auctions that were held Tuesday Oct 17, 2017

Cattle auctions at Lakeland (874), Madison (874), Okeechobee (1395) 
and Webster (1174). Receipts Tuesday 4,017 week ago 4,317, and 
year ago 4,015. Compared to one week ago, slaughter cows and 
bulls steady to firm, feeder steers, bulls, and heifers firm, 
replacement cows lightly tested.

Slaughter cows 19 percent; slaughter bulls 3 percent; and 
feeders 78 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up 
approximately 28 percent of the run; heifers 44 percent; 
bulls 23 percent and replacement cows 5 percent. Feeders 
over 600 lbs totaled around 3 percent.
