Florida Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Florida Livestock Auctions that were held Monday Oct 16, 2017

Cattle auctions at Arcadia (1420), Columbia (850), Ocala (610) 
and Okeechobee (958). Receipts Monday 4,343, week ago 3,838, 
and year ago 3,108. Compared to one week ago, slaughter cows 
and bulls steady, feeder steers and bulls steady, feeder 
heifers steady to 2.00 higher, replacement cows steady.

Slaughter cows 11 percent; slaughter bulls 2 percent; and 
feeders 87 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up 
approximately 37 percent of the run; heifers 34 percent; 
bulls 22 percent and replacement cows 7 percent. Feeders 
over 600 lbs totaled around 3 percent.
