Florida Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Florida Livestock Auctions that were held Monday Oct 09, 2017

Cattle auctions at Arcadia (766), Ocala (769), Okeechobee (758), 
and Columbia (757).  Receipts Monday 4,343, week ago 3,591 and year
ago 2,338. Compared to one week ago, slaughter cows and bulls 1.00 to
3.00 higher, feeder steers, bulls, and heifers 4.00 to 8.00 lower,
replacement cows steady.

Slaughter cows 10 percent; slaughter bulls 2 percent; and feeders 88 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 47 percent 
of the run; heifers 30 percent; bulls 21 percent and replacement cows 
2 percent. Feeders over 600 lbs totaled around 5 percent.
