Florida Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Florida Livestock Auctions that were held Tuesday Oct 04, 2017

Cattle auctions at Arcadia (1382) and Ellisville (1020). Receipts 
Tuesday 2,402, week ago 2,564 and year ago 1,773. Compared to one 
week ago, slaughter cows and bulls steady, feeder steers and bulls 
steady to 2.00 higher, feeder heifers firm, replacement cows firm.

Slaughter cows 11 percent; slaughter bulls 1 percent; and feeders 88 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 49 percent 
of the run; heifers 32 percent; bulls 19 percent and replacement cows 
0 percent. Feeders over 600 lbs totaled around 4 percent.
