Florida Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Florida Livestock Auctions that were held Tuesday Oct 03, 2017

Cattle auctions at Lakeland (1285), Madison (857), Okeechobee (1811) 
and Webster (1237). Receipts Tuesday 5,190 week ago 4,898, and 
year ago 3,461. Compared to one week ago, slaughter cows and 
bulls steady, feeder steers and heifers firm, feeder bulls 
steady, replacement cows steady.

Slaughter cows 15 percent; slaughter bulls 2 percent; and 
feeders 83 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up 
approximately 40 percent of the run; heifers 39 percent; 
bulls 17 percent and replacement cows 4 percent. Feeders 
over 600 lbs totaled around 4 percent.
