Florida Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Florida Livestock Auctions that were held Monday Oct 02, 2017

Cattle auctions at Arcadia (1354), Columbia (714), Ocala (711) 
and Okeechobee (812). Receipts Monday 3,591, week ago 4,571, 
and year ago 3,011. Compared to one week ago, slaughter cows 
and bulls 2.00 to 4.00 lower, feeder steers and bulls 2.00 to 
4.00 lower, feeder heifers 1.00 to 3.00 lower, replacement 
cows mostly steady.

Slaughter cows 20 percent; slaughter bulls 2 percent; and 
feeders 78 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up 
approximately 34 percent of the run; heifers 41 percent; 
bulls 21 percent and replacement cows 4 percent. Feeders 
over 600 lbs totaled around 0 percent.
