LR_LS143 Little Rock, AR Fri Oct 6, 2017 USDA-AR Coop Ext Service Cattlemens Livestock - Glenwood Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 10/05/2017 Receipts: 930 Last Week: 813 Year Ago: 649 Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers were mostly 2.00-4.00 higher on front end kinds with plainer kinds and fleshy calves steady. Slaughter cows were steady. Slaughter bulls sold 3.00 higher. Supply included about 612 feeder calves, 170 feeder yearlings, 53 replacement cows, 80 slaughter cows and 15 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply about 35 percent English breed and English crosses, 30 percent Exotic breed and Exotic crosses, 35 percent Brahma and Brahma crosses, and 0 percent Holstein and dairy breeds. Feeder supply consisting of 58 percent steers and bulls with 42 percent heifers.
