Yearling steers traded steady to 5.00 higher while yearling heifers were lightly tested. Demand was very good, especially on long time weaned and vaccinated calves. The supply was heavy and included several pot loads of yearling steers. With much needed rain falling across the area, producers are hoping there will be time for pastures to improve before a killing freeze. Feeder cattle supply included 55 percent Steers, 0 percent Dairy Steers, 39 percent Heifers, and 6 percent Bulls.
