Among significant producers of butter, the highest prices are recorded in Germany with lower prices in Netherlands, then France, then Italy. Packaged butter demand has recently increased. Block butter demand is active. With overall milk supplies seasonally declining, markets are responding with higher cream and thus, butter prices. Contracting for the fourth quarter of the year is slow. Both buyers and sellers are being very cautious. Export activity is quiet.
