This is especially true in Southern European countries with holiday seasonal high demand for cheese. Supplies remain tight in most manufacturing countries. Younger cheese is being drawn from European aging stocks to meet current demand. In the U.S., wholesale domestic blue, gorgonzola, parmesan and Romano cheese prices increased $0.0400 following higher weekly average CME Group block prices. The remaining prices are unchanged.
