MD_DA811 DA MD DA811 Cheese - Foreign Type MADISON, WI. August 26, 2015 (REPORT 34) FOREIGN TYPE CHEESE Domestically produced foreign type cheese prices moved lower this week. Sources suggest the weakening of the U.S. dollar could lead to higher export possibilities. With the summer coming to an end, demand has slowed, but sellers are looking for that to pick up again soon. Inventories are adequate and product is readily available. According to FAS, cheese quota imports for January through July were at 116.9 million pounds, up 30% from a year ago.
