March 18, 2015 (REPORT 11) FOREIGN TYPE CHEESE Prices for domestic foreign type cheeses moved higher this week, while imported and Swiss cheese prices were unchanged. Demand for imported and domestic foreign type cheese varieties has been good ahead of the upcoming holiday. European stocks of aged cheeses are low, having seen good domestic and export demand over the past number of weeks. Maturation warehouse stocks are very low in Europe and additional orders are not being accepted.
