Imported and Swiss cheese prices were unchanged. Domestic foreign type cheese supplies are more than adequate. Retail demand remains about normal for this time of year, with some increases noted in the Northeast as numerous winter storms prompted retail runs on dairy products. European exports have seen increased activity in recent weeks. European contacts report supplies of hard cheese varieties are tight and aging programs are being rebuilt.
