CHEDDAR CHEESE:   

	Oceania cheddar prices slightly firmed at the bottom of the 
price range and are stable at the top. Buying interest remains 
active and seasonal milk production is still climbing from 
seasonal low levels, all helping to move cheese prices up. 
Export interest is also good. 
	Australian cheese production in June was up 2.2 percent 
from June 2016. However, production July 2016-June 2017, 317,776 
MT, was 2.3 percent lower than the previous twelve months.
      At GDT Event 194 on August 15, the cheddar all contracts 
price increased 1.4 percent.
