CHEDDAR CHEESE:  

Cheddar prices in Oceania firmed at each end of the price range. 
Manufacturers feel comfortable with buying interest and 
profitability of cheddar manufacturing. At GDT Event 169 on 
August 2, cheddar contracts for the September period did not 
change price from the previous GDT session. The all contracts 
price decreased 0.8%. Only November and December reflect 
increased contract prices. New Zealand cheese exports January-
June 2016 increased 9.4% from the same period of 2015 according 
to Eucolait. The top three export destinations and percentage of 
total exports are: Japan, 18.1%; Australia, 16.9%; and China,
