WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE - CENTRAL AND WEST                             

The upper end of the whey protein concentrate 34% prices moved slightly 
lower this week. Industry contacts report limited demand and long 
inventories exist across most of the industry. End users are taking a 
hand-to-mouth approach to purchasing, suggesting a desire to avoid taking 
on inventories. Production of WPC34% is steady. Some contacts also report 
a few processors are shifting production from WPC80% to WPC34%.
