LACTOSE - CENTRAL AND WEST                                                      

Lactose prices held steady this week. Inventories continue to be heavily 
committed through the end of the year, especially for higher mesh lactose. 
Buyers are making regular inquiries to manufacturers, looking for extra loads or 
to establish fixed pricing for early 2017. Industry contacts say export demand 
is good and lactose is moving well through regular contracts. Lactose production 
is ongoing.

Including spot sales and up to 3 month contracts.
