LACTOSE - CENTRAL AND WEST                                                      

Lactose prices were unchanged this week. Production and demand have been steady 
through the last two weeks. Some manufacturers state their inventories are tighter 
than they have been in a long time as they enter 2016. A few processors have drawn 
down inventories to the point of needing to increase production or back down from 
Q1 2016 commitments to maintain comfortable supplies of lactose.

Including spot sales and up to 3 month contracts.
