LACTOSE - CENTRAL AND WEST                                                      

Lactose prices are stable. Occasionally, there are a few spot sales at lower 
prices. Manufacturers report regular business is ongoing, but spot sales have 
slowed. Inventories are becoming more committed. Lactose production is generally 
steady, but some processors are limiting production. Some manufacturers are 
disposing of liquid permeate instead of making lactose.

Including spot sales and up to 3 month contracts.
