This week's GDT event 190 on June 20, resulted in an all contracts price decline in rennet casein of 8.0 percent. With Oceania milk production near seasonal lows, casein markets are quiet and production is low. New Zealand remains the primary source for U.S. casein(ate) imports January-April this year, supplying 48.3 percent, 12,335 MT. EU exports of casein(ates) January-April this year, 38,677 MT, are 2.5 percent lower than year earlier according to Eucolait.
