Casein markets strengthened this week. Both rennet and casein prices 
advanced at the lower end of the price range as buyer interest picked up. 
This week's GDT Event 162 resulted in rennet casein prices increasing for 
contracts 1, 2, and 3. The greatest price increase was for the near term 
May contract, to a greater degree than for June or July contracts. Casein 
production is also notching up, taking advantage of spring milk 
production volumes.
