Casein prices are steady. Current spot market sales tend toward 
the lower ends of the price ranges. The volumes of milk being 
produced in the EU have pressed the capacity limits of existing 
dryers and other dairy manufacturing options, and led to 
increased casein production, particularly in Ireland and France, 
as well as the Netherlands, Poland and Germany. At gDT Event 
154, December 15, all contract Rennet casein pricing declined 
9.5% to $2.0598 per pound.
