Casein prices remained unchanged this week.  Demand is light and supplies 
are readily available.  Negotiations are ongoing for Q3 with buyers 
shopping for lower prices, but in no hurry to finalize transactions.  
Some buyers are hinting they may expand Q3 volumes and carry supplies 
into Q4.  At the May 19 GDT event 140, the average winning price for 
rennet casein for all contract periods decreased 0.4% to $6,067/MT.
 
SPOT SALES AND UP TO 3 MONTH CONTRACTS.  PRICES ARE F.O.B.,      
U.S. WAREHOUSE FOR EDIBLE NONRESTRICTED AND VARY ACCORDING
