Pricing for both casein types is unchanged.  The market tone is in 
transition with the change and adjustments in buyer perceptions of dairy 
production and product supplies coming from Oceania and Europe.  There is 
more confidence with the future availability of rennet casein than with 
acid casein.  Some buyers are submitting acid casein orders and locking 
in supplies for Q2 and beyond.  At the February 17 GDT event 134, the 
average price for rennet casein for all contract periods increased 1.2% 
to $8,897/MT, or just over $4.03 per pound.

U.S. WAREHOUSE FOR EDIBLE NONRESTRICTED AND VARY ACCORDING
