DRY WHOLE MILK - NATIONAL                                        
                                                                 
F.O.B. spot prices for national dry whole milk are mixed on light 
trading. A few spot sales pulled down the bottom of the price 
range. Some manufacturers are offering some loads priced at or 
above $1.5500 per pound. Meanwhile, some customers are buying in 
lower quantities (LTL) paying premiums well above the top of the 
pricing range. The market undertone is unsteady as supply and 
demand varies in each region of the nation. In the same way, 
inventories vary from plant to plant.
