DRY WHOLE MILK - NATIONAL                                        
 
F.O.B. spot prices for national dry whole milk are mixed. A few 
sales, based on Q1 variable price contracts, pushed up the bottom 
price of the range. However, the top of the range remains 
unchanged. Some manufacturers anticipate increasing production in 
the next few week as the demand for butterfat continues to be 
weak. Inventories are mixed throughout the country. The December 
2016 Dairy Market News monthly average for the National price 
series for dry whole milk is $1.4011 compared to $1.3670 a year 
ago.
