A few spot sales of dry whole milk in different regions of the 
nation shifted down prices. Sales activity in the spot market is 
light. The market tone varies throughout the country. Demand from 
dry mix manufacturers and bakers is active. Drying schedules are 
sporadic, mostly based on contractual needs. Inventories are 
mixed.
