DRY WHOLE MILK - NATIONAL                                        
                                                                 
                                                                 
Prices for dry whole milk are mixed on light trading. Some sales 
outside contracts pulled the bottom of the range 10 cents higher. 
According to some industry contacts, the market conditions in the 
East and Central region are fair to good. However, the market 
undertone is weak in the West. Production is sporadic, mostly 
dictated by contractual requirements. Inventories are mixed. This 
week, a cooperative export assistance program accepted requests 
for 88,185 pounds of dry whole milk.
